What’s always dirty and never ends? Housework. It can be time consuming and overwhelming to keep up with the everyday chores. You don’t have to do it all alone. The best way to keep up with the housework is to get yourself organized and delegate. If you have kids in the home, you may even want to consider utilizing a family chore chart.
I have a really cool new Family Chore Chart to share with you today, but first, let’s talk about the benefits of using a chore chart or cleaning checklist.
Benefits of a chore chart
One of the biggest benefits of using a chore chart is getting your kids to do chores in the first place. Not only does this help you out with the household chores but it also helps your children learn responsibility. There are also many benefits for you to use a chore chart as well, such as:

Family Chore Chart for use with Google Sheets
So now let’s talk about the new Family Chore Chart Spreadsheet I have to share with you today. This chore chart is for use digitally with Google Sheets. If you’ve never used Google Sheets before, don’t worry, its very simple and a lot like Excel. All you need is a free google account to use it. The best part is that you can access your spreadsheet at anytime, anywhere, with any device when you use Google Sheets. You can also share the file with your family members if you’d like everybody to have access to the chore chart.
This Google Sheets template is not only easy to use with just one simple tab (and a read me tab to help get you started) but it’s also kind of fun! With a colorful theme and lots of checkboxes and charts, this spreadsheet will really brighten up your dreaded housework.
