Although I normally bring you printables, today I’m bringing you something new! My first Google Sheets Template. This Google Sheets Habit Tracker Template is so cool and I’m actually pretty proud of myself for building it. With things going more and more into digital in this day and time, I needed to branch out. Don’t worry, I’ll still be creating plenty of printables for my pen and paper lovers, but I do hope to do more Google Sheets in the future also. For my digital fans, did you know that all of our printables can be used digitally as well? All you need is a PDF editor, digital planning app or OneNote Notebook.
Now let’s talk about this habit tracker. First of all, it has checkboxes, what more could you want?! ;-P Seriously though, I’m a big Excel fan but I’ve really come to like Google Sheets so much and what got me started was the checkboxes! Anyways, not only can you easily check off your tasks as you go, but you can also see your progress with the visually appealing charts placed throughout the spreadsheet for you.
What is habit tracking?
Habit tracking is basically measuring whether or not you did a particular action on a regular basis. You can do this by simply marking off a calendar, using one of our printables, or trying out this digital habit tracker! Find what works for you and stick with it.
Why is Habit Tracking Important?
Tracking your habits helps remind you to actually complete your tasks. It is recommended to have your habit tracking system somewhere highly visible or easily accessible. If you use our printables you can hang them on your fridge or memo board or stick them in your planner. If you use a digital option, try this Google Sheets Habit Tracker and save it to your computer or download the app on your tablet or phone.
Not only will tracking your habits help remind you to do them but it will also help motivate you to do them, as well as hold you accountable. When you see all your boxes checked off you get a sense of accomplishment that helps drive you to do them more. If you do miss a task it’s okay, try not to beat yourself up to much and get back on track the next day.
